ACREASE Mowers
used acrease mowers for sale
You may not find many used Arcease mowers for sale here but they are well worth buying new if you have the application for them. You can pull an Acrease with an ATV, an old mower, a golf cart, or electric drive traction unit. They work extremely well when pulled with another mower to give you twice the cutting path.
I personally had drawbars on my large zero-turn mowers so I could quickly hook up an Acrease finish mower or two for the large area mowing jobs. With two 60 inch commercial units hooked up to a 60 inch Exmark Laser I could easily mow 15 acres an hour.
The Acrease also makes a great trim mower when hooked up to a zero turn. If you have properties with a large amount of trees that you have to trim under the Acrease gives you a nice reach so you can easily mow under the trees without dodging the low-hanging limbs.
I always had the optional flotation kits added so I could pull them across curbs and through ditches without them hanging up like a conventional wing mower would.
Most of the wing-mowers on the market are designed for homeowner use and only cut well at 3 miles-per-hour but the Acrease cuts well at 8 mph or better. The Arease mows much faster and follows your mower much better than the Swisher Trailmower and Trailcutter. The way the Acrease follows your garden tractor and doesn't leave unmown patches is arguably the best feature.
Their Rough Cut Mower is a great inexpensive alternative to a tractor/bush hog. You can easily pull a Rough Cut with an old garden tractor or ATV and save the cost of a larger tractor/mower.
